Perfection as you'd expect from Fury Weekend by now. but with Megan's gorgeous haunting vocals it really adds a whole new layer. More collabs in the near future I hope!!!
Favorite track: Thousand Lights (feat. Megan McDuffee).
Fury Weekend and Megan McDuffee captivate the cosmos in the popwave collaboration "Thousand Lights". Crisp electronic tones and rhythmic retro beats seamlessly accommodate McDuffee’s unique, lulling vocals any fan of retro-synth is sure to appreciate. This is the first teaming-up between Fury Weekend and the emerging princess of synthwave, but both artists have established themselves as collaborative producers in the retro realm. McDuffee was herself voted twice on New Retro Wave’s Top 10 Collaborations of 2018 and has an impressive history of vocal work with noted composers like Levinsky, Mitch Murder, ALEX, Nicholas Yiu, Moonrunner83, Tokyo Rose, Aurelleah, and many more. "Thousand Lights' (feat. Megan McDuffe) is Fury Weekend's 3rd single from his upcoming full-length album with FiXT Neon, slated for Summer/Fall 2019.

On one hand, it's a fan pleaser, and I'm happy to shell out even a bit extra for the album. It's active, energetic, gets you moving without meaning to, and several tracks do mark themselves as exceptional.
On the other, I really can't say it stands out among the discography, and feels just a little stale.
Worth a buy if you're a fan already, but if you're new to DwtD I'd recommend something like Out of Body to start out instead.
